Few lawyers combine two vantage points that rarely meet: standing before Kuwait's highest courts, and holding the general counsel's seat at the decision-making table of one of the region's largest e-commerce groups. Abdulrahman Al-Hamley practises both at once — and that is what gives his legal opinion a different weight. He does not read a contract as an abstract text, but as a court would read it on the day of a dispute, and as a board would read it on the day of a decision.

Over his years leading legal affairs at Boutiqaat Group, the legal function under his direction evolved from a support role into a partner in decision-making. He provides the legal opinion on which the group's expansions and transactions are built, and drafts the contractual architecture through which its subsidiaries operate — from manufacturing, shipping, and logistics contracts, to fintech and cross-border payment agreements, to acquisition, distribution, and commercial licensing contracts — while handling the legal issues arising from governance, compliance, and risk requirements, whatever their source.

In his own practice at Alpha Legal Group, he handles corporate disputes and complex commercial claims, known for entering a file with a negotiator's mindset and leaving it with a litigator's result.
